about to get this DSM

wanted to get your opinion...
also, asked the buyer for a compression test and if you scroll down at the end of the page of that thread on dsmtalk.com, you will see that he got some weird compression. I relaly wanted to buy this car, but now i don't know..what do yal think?

Just make sure you check over everything before you buy it. Dont jump into anything just because you really want a car like it.

Yea, i did that with my first talon....mmmm STUPID IDEA! let me tell you...worst case call a mechanic shop n ask them if they'll look the car over for ya

I like his conclussion of "Its a DSM". Just from hearing that I would not buy this car. The compression is real low in two of the cylinders expecially with high compression pistons. I would not buy it if they just built it and the compression looks like that.

yeah, and thats why i asked the woner a bunch of questions. I did however test drive the car and it did not smoke and idled REAL smooth...but have any ideas on the compression test being off BUT the leakdown test being good?

yeah, i basically told the guy that i will not buy it...well at least he was being honest...test driving the car would have fooled me..because it ran great...
