able to push car while its in gear

Just like the topic says when i put the car in any gear i can still push it around. Would this be an indication that my transmission is blown?..

If it's standard it shouldn't be able to be pushed while in gear.

hows the clutch feel while driving? or is it not drivable the way it sits? you didnt say if it does it in all gears or just certain ones..

Clutch would be my first guess.

Sounds like a wore out clutch, if its that bad i'd say it wont even pull itself will it?

Or maybe linkage cables popped off if its a auto.

sorry fellas but its a Standard. The clutch is completely shot. Just wondering if that would be the cause for all this, ans its not the transmission

When i say the clutch is shot, I mean that the spring housing is completely shattered and it pieces. i know this because i can hear the pieces when i start it, tumbling inside the bell housing. And it is in all gears

Haha, yes of course it's the clutch! If the clutch is toast how is the engine going to interact with the tranny!

most clutches when they go lock up and wont dissengage you must have really blown it apart, either that or one of your axles popped out of the tranny

As i stated before it is in pieces so i guess u can say it really blew a apart
