Hey DSM guy's I have just finished a different problem in my car, and now im trying to pin down another one I came accross into. Here is the deal guys, the car shakes while the car is in gear if im accelerating a bit hard (past 15% throttle). If I hold the same rpm (in any gear) the shaking stops. This only happens when I accelerate. The front and rear axels(AWD CAR) seem fine, could this be telling me that the u-joints on the propeller shaft(also, known as the driveline) be bad? The launches this car makes are awsome! The transmission has been rebuilt with taller gears. Some info guys:thumb:

Mine did the same thing above 40mph. A bad front CV shaft caused this. It felt fine on the car but soon as I took it out, there was just slight play in it which was causing the shaking at WOT.

How did you check the CV's? Like I said, I had to remove mine to see any play in one. On the car they felt fine. It doesn't take much play to get a wicked vibration.

When I removed my engine I also had to remove my axles.... They did not have any play. I'm going to be getting under the car pretty soon to see if the carrier baerings are bad or the u-joints are.

Have you ever taken notice to whether or not this shaking stops if you adjust steering left or right just a small amount? My wife's car does this same thing right now. I'm leaning towards toe, bearing, or bushings. Also hers was just realigned about 3800 miles ago.

my local mitsu mechanic/friend told me that my cv's could be bad. I've been seen the same problem(bad cv's) with FWD drivers, so I'm thinking it has nothing to do with my driveshaft/ujoints/carrier bearings.
