I recently swaped my 95 talon from a a/t to m/t, and did a bunch of other misc. mods. Well i go to start my car and all i get is click from somewere around the innterior fuse box. I'm thinking theres something in the wiring that is causing the car from cranking over but i'm not sure what. I'm already using a M/T ECU, i have all the a/t wiring still in the car and i think my problem is somewere in it. Does anyone know what it could be before i end up rewiring my whole car?

Well if i'm not mistaken if you got popping noise from the inner fuse box you might want to go back and double check your ground and electrical plugs. And like you said it might be in your harness if its still the a/t one( ). :dsm:

Ya i also did a battery relocate and a bunch of other stuff too so i might go check all my batter termanials again to make sure everything is alright.

thanks

i did a ton of stuff, like to much to list. everything from a new dash, to turbo, to tranny. Not to much wiring stuff though that would affect the car to start other than the m/t to a/t converion

but to ad to it, my fuel pump won't kick in either.

Umm...check your fusible links under the hood. Some might have blown when you were doing the relocation. Also what about a clutch safety switch? is it connected or how did you bypass that?

If we're going to try and figure out why your car won't start, knowing everything you did is a big help.

That said, since you apparently don't really know what you did for wiring, check and make sure the neutral safety switch is grounded out.

I have this exact same problem. I swapped out everything except the dash wiring harness, and now I don't have a plug for the safety switch. Anyone know how to bypass it?
