Check my profile for my mods. :dsm:

I've had mine sitting on a shelf for a month or so. 1g AEM EMS, IAT, zeitronix WB, AEM 3.5 MAP, gauge-tech.com electronic dash. Waiting on a 2g knock sensor and new intake pipe. Should be a grand time.

Hey im deployed in Afganistan im wondering if aem's website is down cuz i cant get to it,to check out the new info for the ems. just wodering?

Running a 1G EMS(#101), AEM wideband, AEM C2Di, and AEM rtd sensor.

Not sure what the cut off number is but mine had to go back for the resistor change to run the wideband. My thoughts are everybody below me will also need the resistor upgrade if they plan to run a wideband. Widebands are a tuners best friend. :thumb:

Just got mine back from AEM I had a coil driver crap out on me.

I have one but I have been having a hell of a time trying to get it running. My car had an electrical fire with the capacitor blowing so I vowed when that day happened, I would go AEM. Now that day has come, and I can't get it to run @ all :thumbdown Anyone else have this problem with a basically stock car running an AEM?

Things are rather difficult to get running with out any variables in the mix. My recomendation is try to get the car running on the stock ecu first. Once you are sure the car runs fine, then try to get it running on the AEM.

i own one and in need of assistance asap about how it works it was installed in the car when i got it and m not sure exactly how it works since the guy didnt give me the book or anything on it

do you need a boost controller if you run an aem ems?
and i am lookin to go 400 450 whp when i'm done is the aem ems worth it or is it overkill just wondering because i heard that dsmlink kicks a@# but just dosen't have as many options.
eny and all info would be greatly appreciated

I once said my goal was 400 hp and that quickly went by the wayside. If you go AEM, you will never need to replace it. I had an AFC, then DSMLINK V1, Then V2, Then DSMLINK with MAFT, now I have an AEM and it is the endall. The dsmlink is much much much much much much easier to use. If you are new, do the dsmlink.

The AEM can use a GM boost control selonoid to control boost so an external boost controller is not necessary.

Anyone know where the ECU turnoff is located? As in the menu its located? My EMS stays powered until I diconnect t3h battery, or it drains the battery dead. Yes Im on 1.11

There is no ecu turn off. It is supposed to do it on its own. Hold old is your unit. The first few that came from AEM had a problem like this. If you call them up they will have you run some tests. If it comes back that this is one of those units, you send it into them and they will fix it and send it right back.

I have 0098. I guess I will get a hold of the tech line tomorrow. On a side note my car was tuned by Nick Drake from PINA motorsports. He has it running like a gawd damn top right now. I cant wait til the water injection goes on. Is anyone running the two step and getting more than 8 lbs at the line? Thats as much as I can get right now.

I have ems on my 2g running with speed density and I'm looking to pick up another for my 95 civic hatch gsr(worked) about to double the head gasket and get a nice 60trim on it!!! I need to learn about tunning the ems- turbotrix tuned it!! made 401awhp with a green but I'm switching to red in a few months

A couple of requests:
Please do not register if you; are about to get one, want one, etc.
This thread will become really, really, long and lose its purpose if we ask every question that comes to mind about the EMS here. Please just use it to add you name to the registry. If you have questions, send polite emails to the ems users who have registered here, do a search, or start another thread.

I have an EMS for my 1G.
Using AEM 3.5 bar and IAT

I have tuned several Honda and DSM AEM EMSystems.
I also have Experience with several other Engine Management Systems, including haltech SDS, FCON, AFC, DSM link ETC ETC.

Hands Down AEM has been the most valuable investment several of my Friends and customers have made for their vehicles.

The customer support is Top notch. Several experienced Tuners on the AEM boards
are always giving indepth valuable tuning tips and how to's for all vehicle applications.

The AEM offers the user almost endless possibilities of tuning and hardware support.

If you want to run a ford TB and IAC on your honda Or Mitsu you can. If you want to have a rpm dependant boost controler you can. If you want a gear dependant boost controler, you can. If you want Programmable traction control, you can. If you wan to data log any sensor, you can. The list of options goes on and on and on.
