A little help trying to understand cams

I am looking at adding a set of cams to my 92 n/t and while doing alot of reading and searching I have not found anything that fits what I want. I understand that cams come in all sizes but I am looking for some that will give me power in the middle rpm band. I am not worried about taking off like a bat out hell or doing 140, I want it to be there for normal driving. I have headers/intake/cat-back already installed so if anybody has something like this or can help it would great for the feedback.

2nd question is has anyone had their ecu reprogrammed by jett or any one else? Is it worth the money?

I am a turbo guy, but I have heard alot of n/t guys installing stock turbo cams in their cars and seeing respoectable gains. As for wanting midrange power this is probably the most mild upgrade as far as cams go that you will find. My friend sold his stock turbo cams to a kid and he called back and said it did more than any of his other mods

the cam or cams are the brains of a motor and I dont care what anyone else says...if you are a true racer you will know what Im talking about.select your cam and build the motor around it.cams come in different "grinds".people think they can buy a bigger turbo and all is good...WRONG!!!!
