Resolved A little confused on engine identification

ok i bought a motor on ebay and the guy said it was a 91 talon so i bought a wiring harness and ecu from jdm both said they are from a 91 talon. My questions are these My valve cover says 16v 2000 on it which leads me to believe its a 94 which would be a 2g right? but i has 6 bolts on the fly wheel. If i bought a 91 harness and ecu is it gonna work mind you this motor is going into a sandrail so there will be obvious wiring mods there.my dad has the same motor in his rail but his valve cover doesn't have the 2000 on it so is his a 91? 1g?

Dont worry about the VC. If the crank is 6 bolts, its a 1g motor. No questions, or arguments.

2g starts in 1995 I believe (1995-1999)

definately 1g. 94 earlier is first gen 95 later is second gen

1 gen 1990-94
2 gen 1995-99

but check bolts and oil pan.
