I guess my biggest question is this: How much can a 1g FWD with stock engine internals handle? I want to push my car to the limits without causing serious internal failure.

My current setup:
Stock 4g63t motor
garrett/mitsu hybrid 50 trim turbo
FMIC with all IC pipes converted to hard pipes
650cc SBR injectors
255lph walbro fuel pump
SBR MAFT w/ 3" GM MAS
2.5" Downpipe with external dump
full 2.5" turbo back without cats

Before I run it at the track I'm gonna get the local speed shop to tune it so its at its peak performance, but I'm wondering what kinda hp numbers i can get and with 'good' driving what kinda 1/4mile times i can expect. Also, if I'm forgeting anything other than internal parts please let me know.

I forget some info:
1. It has an aftermarket intake manifold, i forget what brand
2. I'll be running 93 octane
3. If you could keep hp ratings in whp it'd help with confusion

what does it matter... being fwd you will never want to make that kind of power... 400whp is alot in a fwd application... 99% of all people will never even make that kind of power

One more thing i forgot to add... I'm running 10" wide slicks for the track. I'll be able to get all the traction I need. And never tell me I wont want to make that much power. I always want to make more power and I can bet 99% of all people will mant to make that kind of power too

what kind of boost control are you using? A 2 stage might be really helpful in the launch.. just depends on what kind of traction you are getting. 400 horses to the ground is really pushing the line on stock internals. That set up "should" hold together but just depends how much boost you plan on running and how well your tune is. On, 93 octane.. I personally would run about 20psi.. race gas you could up it to maybe 24-25. This is my opinion if I had that set up. I never really planned on putting that many ponies to the ground so I have not researched enough to really know where the limit is on that motor.. i know you are close though.

yeha im sayign 400+ whp

adn id reccomned an apexi AVC-r with the rev bassed boost controlling..will deff help you out
