A few questions

hello. i have a few questions on what some of you guys may recommend on a few things. i have a 1997 eclipse gs. I'm building it as a na car. i have no intentions to go turbo. first thing i was wondering what would you recommend for a suspension. i don't mean just springs. i want full coil overs(drop rate and all the other fun numbers involved), ball joints, sway bar and links, camber kit for front and rear, control arms upper and lower front and back, all the chassis bushings for the suspension for the front and rear.
the engine is rebuilt but i would like to after market cams. i was looking at the crowler stage 2 cams for the 420a. for those i was wondering if they are the best bang for the buck or if there are other brands that are better for the buck. there are more things that I'm questioning for engine mods but i think i have them figured out.
i was looking into a mega-squirt ecu. messing with the computers of the car are new to me so I'm not really sure what to look for or what to go for.
for fuel and air delivery, i was wondering if the welbro pump was any good. Ive done alot of reading on them and from what i understand is that is a must for a turbo build. if i do decide to do that I'm going to want a new regulator, bigger lines, filter, rail, injectors, manifold, i already picked up a TB off a early 90s jeep i plan to use after its modified. everything i just listed for f&a delivery will be a complete waste unless i figure out the computer thing. any recommendations would be great. and i do appreciate it a ton. thanks

It depends what type of shocks and coilovers you want. How big of a drop do you want? Depending on how low you want it to sit, will affect the type of shocks and what not. For a 1" drop or less you can get away with the AGX shocks. Anything more you are going to want to look into some better ones.

I dont have much info for n/a eclipse because to me n/a honda's will be better. Anyways for input to one of your questions. I have tein basic coilovers. Info in my profile. It rides really comfortable dude. It's not to bouncy and it rides really will. Will enough to have a baby in the car and go over train tracks at 40 mph.

i dont want to be like every honda guy who slams the car. and where i live the roads are not the best. so i was thinking about maybe a 2 inch drop

2 inches makes an Eclipse almost undriveable.

Yeah, 2 inches is quite abit and wish I didn't go so low with my Talon I hit almost every Little hole of slight rise of pavement with my front bumper. Here's a couple recommendations for shocks. I personnally have the Koni adjustable and Have owned the KYB gas shocks and they both perform well and still have a descent ride. The Koni are a lil stiffer though. Far as Springs I'd go with Eibach but I'm just partial to Eibach Springs. Really just preference and doing your research and ensure you do it in the right order or could lead to problems with your build. I will attach a couple links to look at, but definitely look around some more for suspension.

thank you fo rthe feed back on the suspension. i sorta have a good idea on what i would like to do now. and 2 inchs seems to be alot not to think about it. i havent had a bumper on my car for almost 2 years and just put my new bumper on today. 2 inchs might be just a little to much. thumbs up for all the help guys. looking forward to finishing and hopes to have it painted by the end of sept.
