I am looking to make my talon a bit faster. I understand that I can get dsmlink v3 lite, and a wideband O2 for starters, but what else do I need? Should I get a wideband O2 controller? a SAFC? What options are there for ECU mods other than what ECMTuning has? Or would I be better off just getting a megasquirt to handle it all? I know about most mods I need to do first IE;fuel pump rewire/walbro swap, fuel rail inlet porting, the 1600cc injectors (if you go dsmlink). vfaq is my bible.

I'd check the upgrade paths listed and follow them. They are hard won knowledge and totally worth following.

You need to provide more info. What are your goals with the vehicle?

A wideband is a controller. You use a wideband sensor and it's hooked up the the controller to to provide the proper readout from the signal.

IIRC megasquirt is a NT device so you cannot use it.

Why 1600cc injectors? Are you goin to run e85 and a larg enough turbo that you need that much? I'm on pump with a HX40 and still have a lot of room left in my 1250s.

It's best to buy once but if you choose any thing over 650s yiu want a stand alone system whiter it's an AEM unit or going with a re chip setup like ECMLink or DSMap/jackal
