Ok, how can I get rid of this CEL? On a OBD II it reads "A/F metering" which, from what I understand, is mainly caused by the BOV not being recirculated. (I know becuase I ran atmospheric for about a month with my TurboXS RFL BOV) I bought a greddy Type S and have it recirculated to fix this but Im still getting a CEL with the same code. Anything else I can do? Ive adjusted the BOV almost all the way across the spectrum everytime the CEL would come on. -Matt
 
what would the O2 sensors have to do with the a/f metering? Also, is there a way to check if the O2's are good or do you just have to replace em'?
 
sorry to dig this up again but im having the same problem... what else could it be if my o2 sensor is good? a/f meter and sensor voltage says im right where i need to be.
 
hey, just wanted to let you know that I think I fixed the a/f metering CEL. >knock on wood< I finally found that "special spot" on the greddy type s and now its not throwing any codes. Thanks to everyone for their help. -Matt
 
If you are not venting them that has nothing to do with you CEL. No matter what the position of the BOV, open, closed, in the middle, all the air goes to the same place. TYOu should replace the O2 sensor and I bet that will actually fix the probelm.

A/F gauges are useless. When I had my Laser running it had a A/F gauge, :confused: , and it read fine also, but the O2 sensor was shot. I put a new one in and my car ran titties and beer.
 
i dont have an air/fuel gauge. I think it is the bov that was throwing the code. It is a greddy type S that is recirculated and everywhere I adjusted it it threw the a/f metering code like when I had the RFL until I adjusted it to the current position and now I have no CEL. Its been about 3-4 weeks (maybe more) and I was throwing the cel within 2 days of resetting the ECU. -matt
