So when i first installed my "light show" guage, it would work at idle and at cruise, now it only works when im on the throttle when i'm just cruising nothing happens unless my foot is on the accelerator......is this a result of O2 sensor not functioning properly? Thanks.

If the lights aren't blinking back and forth during idle or cruise you need to figure out if it's a problem with your fuel (too much or too little), your O2 sensor, or one of the other sensors like ECT, that is keeping the car from being in closed loop.

Do you have any datalogs from when this is happening?

Steve

I don't have a logger yet, I had some ignition problems and bought a new eprom ECU, because the other one had a little burn and corrosion on the board, but havent gotten around to putting it in yet...would this have anything to do with not being in closed loop?

Sorry i misunderstood the question. What does your fuel economy and performance look like. A bad 02 usually causes a rich condition.

i gotta faze airfuel ratio gauge and it serves my purpose 4 now until i get my afc and datalogger. i mean its not at all super accurate but it at least gives u an idea and its def better than nothin. if the gauge isnt lightin up its the computer leaning out the fuel curve so much that the light doesnt appear but it should come bak soon as u touch the gas but if u got your foot mashed on the throttle and it leans out then your in trouble. all u have 2 watch 4 is to make sure it isnt in the lean zone wen your accelerating... idle and cruise doesnt matter, that gauge inst accurate enough to tell u anything all the time so just watch your accerlration signals and your ok

fuel economy is fine, performance isnt the best but that is b/c cylinder number 3 and 4 are both below 100 psi. Anyways today the A/F guage was blinking at idle so idk, i was just kinda curious why it was doing that i'd figure it was from running to lean.
