a/f gauge stuck in rich

i installed my a/f gauge into the spot by my passenger side kick panel and i was stuck in rich and didnt move at all the whole time driving. so i decided to tap into the O2 senser wires themselves by the manifold cuz that is where i had it installed on my laser and it read the samething whats the deal any clues..... and if my O2 sensor was dead is their anyway for me to check it.

It could be stuck on whatever, it doesn't matter.

Your a/f gauge could be junk (even if it works), or the o2 sensor might not work.
Though thanks for letting us know.

Well.... you could log it, but I but it will also show that the O2 sensor is stuck on a voltage. That's what mine did when it died.

damn. thanks for the replys. are their anyways to check the 02 sensor or any symtoms i might be able to look for.

If the wire came off at the connection, it may read straight green.....mine did.
