I was wondering how a SAFC II would work on my car. It is a Z/28 with bolt ons. A friend of mine suggested the SAFC to me, despite my lack of a turbo/supercharger. Said it might get a little bit of gain with stock injectors. Anyways it would seem fun to tune my car even if I didn't get a whole lot out of it, and I could use something to liven up the sh1tty camaro interior.

Any comments?

Whether or not a SAFC will work has nothing to do with whether the car is turbo or not. The SAFC was undoubtedly designed with non-turbo cars in mind.

The question is whether it is compatible with your car's ECU.

We tune our PCMs. A common tunning thing is to add a LT4 knock module and tune it for high performance on premeium (sp) fuel. As far as gas goes. I hope it works, I will be one of the first to do this on my F-Body, nobody else has really done it, but since I used to own a DSM I still love the accessories.

What about just using ls1edit? I can't think of the name of the version for lt1's but I saw a couple people at various dyno days using that.

My fiance has a 99 T/A so we hang around fbodies owners a good bit too :thumb:
