I had to replace the low end hose on my a/c system, when ever we started to recharge it, it started blowing cold when it was not quite full then went back warm after it was full, I released some to get it back where it was when it was blowing cold and still didn't get any cold air, The a/c light comes on and stays on all the fans are working properly just not blowing cold....sound like its clogged? anybody know how I can test the system? if it is clogged can I just put the system under a deep vacuum and then replace the dryer and recharge? I'm lost with all this air conditioning stuff but it is getting hot outside.......and that sucks.

I don't know much about trouble shooting but my car had a hole in the condenser the previous owner had told me so I changed mine out which is a really easy job. Then I replaced the O-rings, re-assembled and recharged it and it works great. Maybe you have a leak is what I am getting at.

If there was too much pressure in the system it doesn't sound like there's a leak.

HVAC stuff can be difficult to troubleshoot without specialized equipment. I would consider taking it to a shop that knows what they're doing.

I don't believe it has anything to do with the ecu although i've been reading that is a popular problem. I really do think there is just a clog in the system, I found a aplace that will put it under the deep vacuum I was talking about, i'll let you know how it goes.

is the compressor engaging? You may have to use a jumper wire to manually kick it on. If your using a gauge to monitor low side pressure you need to engage the clutch with the hi pressure switch so that you can finish charging the system
