Thanks for that info, Im planning on doing mine this weekend with a little spare time I have. I'll take it slow and make sure I cool it with water. Im going to try and replicate @zer_0 headlight.Im in the process of making mine for my 98 GST from my old fogged pair of lights (prototype) and I used just a small dremel cutting wheel. you just have to take it slow on the plastic and make sure you use water to cool the cutting area as you go if not you will just melt the plastic and have a hot melted mess around the cut area

It looks like you took the guts out of the headlight so it no longer will function. Is that correct?
How did you cut it out? I've wondered myself what guys usually use to cut the plastic.
