991-94 ecu in 90, tach adapter question.

I am purchasing a 91-914 eprom ecu to socket and put in my 90. I have done all the reading and figured out that all i have to do is swap pins 6 and 14, but my tach will not work. I found the link to the external tach adapter on dsmchips.com but hey wouldn't you know... out of business. Where can I get the correct tach adapter or what do I need to do? The write up on changing the transistor and whatnot just confused me.

The tach adapter is a simple circuit, and a little searching could show you how to build one. If you don't want to do that, the instrument cluster from a 91-94 is easily swapped in.

Not just swapping the cluster. That's part of replacing a good portion of the ignition system.
