99 gsx

I am thinking about getting a 99 eclipse gsx 5 speed. Here is a few things it has
"big" 16g
SS o2 housing
Hallman PRO Evo MBC
GReddy 24" FMIC
DSM LINK
95 Eprom ECU
Walbro 255 Fuel Pump
FIC 850 CC Fuel injectors
ACT 2600 Clutch
6 blot swap engine and much more. It runs and sounds great, but the problem with the car is that it wont shift into gear. When the car is off it shifts perfectly fine but when its on it will not shift. My question is what might be the problem and is it worth getting for a 3 or so thousand dollars. Thanks

It sounds like it could just be a clutch but, there is also a good possibility its a tranny. Sounds like the guy knows how to make power and with that said I'm sure he launched it more than once. Its hard to say weather or not it worth it depending on what is actually wrong. Hope this helps.

its the slave and master cylinder pretty easy fix less than 200 and get an extension rod for the 2600, all you need is a Fuel pressure regulator. 3k or so its a pretty F u c k i n g deal get it its a 99 gsx.

if you dont want it i do tell me where is it.

i paid 4k for a 99 gsx shell.

i would say dont find another car, find another transmisson,, if you want power and are looking to build a car like this,, this guy has already paid your first 3-4 grand of performance parts

and for 3K, you can spend another 900 on a soild working transmission

Clutch not going into gear could be a number of things, ask him how new the clutch is and if his tranny has ever been serviced...

Mine wouldnt go into gear either after i installed the ACT 2600, all it needed was a simple pedal adjustment and voila, shifts like butter...
