99 GSX P1104 solenoid and Greddy Profec B Spec II

Hi,
I have a 1999 Mitsubishi Eclipse GSX with a Greddy Profec B Spec II boost controller installed. The car is running normally; however sometimes when I start, I get a check engine light and code P1104, which it says is turbo wastegate solenoid. I am told that part is the same as the boost solenoid, and that this error means that the solenoid coil is being checked when the car starts and is returning a lower than expected voltage. Since my car has the Greddy boost solenoid, I'm not sure if the car's computer is checking that, or if the car is still checking the factory solenoid which could have failed over the years even though it is not in use(?).

Can anyone suggest what part I may need to replace?

I would def shoot or the solenoid for sure. I have used this EXACT same Greddy controller for my 99 for almost 9 years now with no issues.

I found the original boost solenoid dangling in the engine compartment from its cable, due to the person who installed the boost controller leaving it that way, and ordered a new one from jnztuning, so hopefully that will allow it to pass the startup check once I replace it.
