I just installed a new greddy rs bov in my 1999 mitsubishi spyder eclipse gst. I dont really have any mods done to it except for the K&N air filter i have in. Ever since i replaced the stock bov with the greddy bov there seems to be some kind of leak. There was a hose that ran from the intake pipe into the stock bov, but the greddy one does not have the connection for it so i just plug up the intake hole. When i take off, i here the turbo suck in but i dont the push it normally gives me. it seems to max out psi very quickly and when i shift the car kind of bounces. If anyone has any advise or help i will be very greatful. thank you.

This is everything after the greddy bov installation

You're venting that BOV on a stock MAS which is a no no. You need to buy the fitting that allows you to recirculate the BOV back into the intake. This will take care of all your problems.

I think we should make it illegal for DSMers to buy shiny BOVs without showing proof of purchase of either Speed Density or GM MAFT. I think it would cut out 95% of the problems DSM noobs have.

Hey man, welcome to DSMtuners.
It seems like you need to do some research. It's bad for the car to vent to the atmosphere due to where the stock MAS (Mass Airflow Sensor) is located. Therefore to vent properly without harming your motor you'll need a couple things. For now please recirculate it for the sake of the motor.
Here.
