Vee,
Which one do u guys recommend... I was reading up on the product descriptions and I'm still undecided which one to buy so i thought a little insight would be nice XD...

basically it seems like to me that the HKS is a better option because of the dual stage pull type relief valve which allows it to react at low and high boost pressures...

I was trying to research if the greddy type rs had the same function but i dont belive it does...seems like you adjust it to the proper boost level and yea...

A little help would be nice XD

by the way i ended up getting the hks bov and its great, sounds awesome etc etc... the main reason i choose the hks because its sequential and you dont have to manually adjust its auto adjusting

Hell I have a Knock off type S from ebay and it worked GREAT! I really dont know what to tell you. maybe start a poll and have people vote and thats the one you get. Im just not a fan of HKS. the only HKS thing I have is a Turbo timer.
+1 i also have the hks type 1 tt, and a greddy type rs bov venting to the atmosphere, no problems with my greddy yet...

+1 for the 1G DSM BPV as the most cost-effective and sufficient one.

From my experience, the Type-RS has an aggressive whipping sound and the Type-S generally gets annoying after a while. I'd only recommend the HKS if you run a speed density setup or have the recirculation fitting, otherwise you're just a ricer aiming for sound over function.

I got the RS, I love the sound and have no problem with it thus far.
I also have the newer version of HKS with the fin on the side. Have not use it, but love the way it looks. Much hi-tech looking than the RS so...

+1 Greddy
+0.5 HKS

HKS ssqv are notorious for leaking. On the NASIOC subaru forums you are considered an idiot for using one. Every-time someone has issues the install of a HKS ssqv is one of the first questions asked. Also they can't handle more than 25 psi without running two of them because they can't vent air fast enough.
