Hi my name is Dustin, im new to this site and am in serious need of some more experienced dsmers advice. I'm no stranger to turning wrenches, and this is my second 2g gst but this car has me stumped. So here is what I know. it's a 1998 2gb gs-t spyder with 130,000 miles the previous owner got it with a bad engine, bought a salvage yard 6 bolt with supposed 48,000 miles and slapped it in and said ok im done too many projects somone take this away. I picked it up for 600 with 2 extra blocks and 2 heads and some random parts. It started up drove on the the trailer and off and thats it. When i backed it off the trailer it flooded out and died after about 30 secconds. You could definatly smell it was runnng rich, probably due to the 775cc? Injectors that previous owner just installed. So i started taking things off the car and going over what needed done. It had no power steering or ac so my 95 gst became a donor. My biggest concerns with this car and where i need the most help is figuring out what vac lines i need and where they go and tuning this thing. It has a safc2 and a inovate wideband o2. I know nothing abot the 6 bolt swaps other than bits and pieces ive dug up. Also i do have a 1g intake on this but a 2g intake on my other car, unfortunately my 95 having a ton of stuff stolen off it under the hood and i cant use it as a reference. Only reason i mention this is im currious is weather i should take off the 1g intake and use my 2g to remedy the mdp sensor laying off to side with a vac line ziptied to it or if i need the mdp/map sensor since this does not have an egr now. Any help greatly appreciated and i can post pics if need be.
