Alright i made the post about how my timing belt slipped and after bringing it to a shop i basically need to replace alot of internals... Well i though about it and i love this car to much to part it out and get rid of it. So i was wondering if there are engine rebuild kits. Sadly I'm a newb to rebuilding engines but ill take my time to figure it out as long as i get to keep the car. Also if i get really screwed up my friend who is a mech said on his off days hell come over and give me a hand. Just wondering if there are Any good rebuild kits out there so i can get a price range. My pockets aren't deep only 1g ATM but i do have a job so i do have a income coming it every 2 weeks. thanks for any1s help.

Well since you jumped time it pretty much bent every valve in the head you have two options there depending on what you want to spend but you could take the head off and replace the valves and stuff your self which can get pricey or try to find a good used head, you might find a decent price on one. Also if your wanting to rebuild the whole engine ive been told that the topline rebuild kits for these engines are great kits and there not that expensive either.. Hope this helps out and good luck on bringing it back to life..

Dude, go on craigslist. I know what it's like to blow an engine. On my old talon, the engine spun a bearing and bye-bye went my engine. Got another stock bottom end for $250. Around my area, there are at least 5 different people selling good 4g63 heads, all for like 100-300.
