2G 98 Eclipse Spyder GS shift solenoid

My 98 Eclipse Spyder GS has a check engine light on. The error code is P1750 (shift solenoid). The car would shift through all gears smoothly until the transmission fluid would get to temp. Then it shifts from 4th to 3rd then back to fourth until a couple of days ago. Now it shifts from 4th all the way down to 2nd. I need help locating the shift solenoid so I can replace it.

they are inside the transmission.. you need to drop the pan and take the valve body off to get to them..... BUT!!!! before doing that check all wiring going into the trans.. if the wire is freyed or not making a good connection at the plug that is a easier fix and alot faster to fix ..
