I've been trying to research to find some options.
My 2g Spyder GS 2.4l auto is having shift solenoid issues, with a check engine light and terrible shifting etc. From my understanding this car has a F4A23-2 transmission?
Now my question is, because I can't source a valve body for this car online.
Does the 2.4l Galant and Dodge Avenger share the trans, particularly the valve body?
I can get one at pull a part for about 65 bucks used. Any info would be greatly appreciated.
Realistically, at some point I'll probably source a running and driving turbo model, and essentially swap out the motor and trans using a complete donor car.
