2G 97 Eclipse Stalling

I have a 97 eclipse GS 2.0 DOHC. It seems to be stalling after driving for a small amount of time. I put in a new ECU and the CEL still remains on. It will stay on if I pump the gas if it can be felt before it cuts out. The code reader says that multiple cylinders are misfiring.

check spark plug gaps, if those are good then check plug wires and seeing if they are split open or not. if those are good then check ignition timing and timing itself

I'm thinking it could be an ignition coil/distributor

With an ohm meter correct?

Yes. Most multi-meters have this function.

Make sure plug wires are on tight if anything replace them, still cheaper than replacing a coil.

Crank sensor. Had a similar issue with my old 2.0 avenger and that fixed the issue.
