Im in need of some dsmer help.. I need some help and im sure there are more people who also need it. any help is appreciated thanks

i need a 97-99 eagle talon front bumper and i know its a rare one but its my missing piece.. also need some one to recommend a machine shop

Depends on what machine shop but best for heads is hopsing

Good luck finding a '99 Eagle Talon front bumper considering they stopped production in November '98; that's an even rarer site than a working DSM! As far as a good machine shop, type Hopsing Machine Shop in your Google search and go through him. That's where I, as well as many other DSMer's, go to get any machine work done.

Im looking to do a bottom end rebuild. what prices would i be expecting at these shop for both head and bottom end.

thats very reasonable.. i googled these machine shop and they have very good feedback. what do they include in a block job. meaning do they do torque plate and balance, blueprint

Yes. We wouldn't recommend a shop that didn't. The guy is from China, doesn't speak very good English, and the location of the shop is questionable but don't let it fool you, his machine work is outstanding and the price is at least 50% less than anywhere else in San Diego.

If you drop a head off at Group 5 they'll tell you $500 then they take it to Hopsing and he charges them $200 and they get the $300 off the top. Group 5 takes their machine work there, at least did back in '10 when I was at Hopsings getting work done.

i dont wanna talk bad about G 5 but never had good expirience with them when i was a novice at cars in general..

Talk bad about them, they're garbage. I was laughing my ass off when I saw that Evo head in Hopsing's shop with "Group 5" written on it. The only thing I'd go to Group 5 for is a light-up shift knob or a JDM drifter toy to hang of my exhaust tip. :notgood:
