95 gsx turbo awd

hey everyone, i just bought i 95 gsx and it it awd and it has turbo. right now i have a 3g eclipse but im going to a 2g. i was just wondering if i wanted to find good parts for it to get an intake manifold or something like that, where would be a good, cheap place to go? im new to the forced induction and i really need some help. my old car was all motor and only fwd. this is awd and turbo, two things i know nothing about, help me please!!

First things first..maintenance, Timing belt, water pump, fluid changes..

Aftermarket boost aguage..

You don't need an aftermarket intake manifold right away..This isn't a v8 where changing the manifold is one of the first things they do..

For the first time in history, I agree with Bud92gsx's poorly composed post. The fact that you're talking about changing the intake manifold instantly shows everyone that you've never read anything about these engines, and that's what you need to do.

Yeah I kinda had to do it quick so it's may not be as elaborate as I would have liked it to be..But great info anyway you look at it..

Like absit said changing the intake manifold is for those who make serious power...Not a first thing to do on a stock 4g63..

Just as Absit stated, reading up is a great start. Catching up on maintenance is the first step before bolting any mods on.. you dont have to but if you want to protect your investment its the best isea

Get your maintenance done first then you can check out the tech section. It has a upgrade path.

I have a 95 GSX, as well. It is my first DSM and I got it in bags and boxes of parts. I was told to read up on it before I started doing anything. I started the reading, but got too anxious and went for the rebuild. I learned a lot in the process, but really wish i would have done the studying before I started the build. A great book to get your hands on is "How to Build Max-Performance MITSUBISHI 4G63t Engines." It will get you going in the right direction. Definitely start with some maintenance, though.
