Ive been havin probelms since 3 weeks ago, first i thought it was my MAFT setup, then a short circuit then alternator and bettery problems, i chek everything, My car didnt wanted to start up, sometimes it did started but didnt wanted to pass 2000rpm, dsmlink says flow sensor malfunction

i conected my stock 97 ecu and my car runs fine

what could have gone bad?

I have been seeing a few 2g ecu's that will have a hard time running and not show any good sensor values on a scan tool. It has been sensor grounds in the ecu's which I cannot fix any way other than replacing.

Also no one that knew how to fix it would tell me they all wanted my money so I got a socketed eprom from www.ffwdconnection.com to replace the two I have had go bad, on a customer's and my car.

I`ve spent several weeks going down this very same road . . .

I cant belive that my 95 eprom dosent works but still sometimes the car starts up and there also spark, dsmlink can log on and datalog and read codes. I connect the stock one and the problem is gone i can rev past 2500 and everything the translator lights also works.

I opened my 95 eprom and everything looks great, no capacitors leaks nowere.

I think i also have a short circuit aroud somewere else
