I got a acura integra gsr and been wanting to get into the eclipse scene for a while...I've been thinking that i should sell my car to get some money to buy a eclipse because trading a 96 gsr is gonna be hard for a 95-99gsx. So i was wondering can anyone help me find eclipse gsx in the wisconsin area that wold want to trade for now or buy a 96 gsr ...(it is posted in the classified of this website.)

The thing is that the eclipse that i can find, the owner wants alot for it and wants alotmore for it with a trade...i mean like i was talking to a guy who's car is worth ABOUT 7000...97 gsx with 95k and has exhaust and intake and tinted windows...i mean come on for 9,500...i think that is a bit too much.. i want to find a car that is close to stock and not overpriced.

you might want to look into a 1G (90-94) they might be cheaper and they have bigger turbo too :thumb:

but they look like a 2g that has been a crack whore in detroit for 100 yrs....basically they are ugly  ....

but go on autotrader, biglot.com. dsmtrader.com...etc

Why does everyone say that the 1g's are ugly? I useto think that until I saw that really tight looking red 1g with bronze wheels and a huge FMIC. Oh it was clean, now I love 1g's. Can someone post that picture up. :p

You could try H-T, i have seen some guys looking to trade thier DSM for some hondas/acuras. Only bad thing is if you don't already have an account there, you have to wait to use the classifieds and im. You could just get there email and talk to them that way. Good Luck...

oh and 1g's are nice, but 2g's are alot sexier... :thumb: :talon: :thumb:

tell me my car isnt sexy.. i mean its really dosent matter since i drive a nice car and you drive a honduh

PIMP...

and if your looking for a straight up trade, I think it'll be a bit difficult since turbo is becoming very popular over n/a.

I wouldn't try and trade I would just sell your car and then buy a dsm with the money. I'm sure you could sell it for enough to buy a 2g you can find good deals you just have to wait and don't settle on something just because you wan't it right now.

put the gsr up for 11, some stupid rice kid will snatch it no problem. hell i just saw a 98 black gsr with 90k on it go for 15 grand in my area, kids these days.

awd's are hard to find, even good 1st gens, so youre prolly gonna be searching long and hard for it. and expect a clean stock awd to be 7G's and up.

I bought my 2g GSX AWD for $5400.. bone stock except the suspension (eibach prokit) so it IS possible.. a lot of times its nice to find older people who dont know the value of the car but have taken really really good care of it.. personally i'd go with a 1g (squinty eyed one tho.. no flip up head lights for me ;) ) since the 6bolt motor is more reliable, and eventually find a 2g shell (if you want to go for a sexy lookin car) and swap it in there :thumb:

If speed (your ego) is more important than your pimp skills (getting girls) then a 1st gen is the best way to go, if its visa versa then get a 2g. Although I think you can make both cars look good anyway.
