92 laser rs body interchangable body parts?

ok im a newbie to these cars. I just picked up a white 92 turbo laser for $400 off of ebay. The front RH fender and door is dented pretty bad, and the molding on the door is partly missing. Also the bottom lip around the door and fender is messed up. and it has no spoiler. Can these body parts be replaced with eclipse, talon body parts? I searched and didnt come up with any answers. Also is the wheels bolt pattern the same for all of these cars through all years? Thanks in advance Cody

All 92 Talon, Eclipse, Laser bodies are the same but Some of the soft molding has different styling. Further more most 90-94 body parts will fit, as well as all 92-94 will fit. 90-91 had flip up lights so there is obvious compatability issues in certain areas there. Talon, Eclipse, Lasers all rolled off the same production line and were just hit with different badging and slightly different ground effects in some cases..but all is compatible.

Once you get into engine and tranny stuff the only thing that matters is year(no brand). Just FYI if you do any engine work, the 92 model year was a transition. Some had 6 bolt engines, some had 7. Just so your aware you need to make sure you get the right parts if you dig inside.

Don't think it was mentioned but all turbo dsms have the 5 lug pattern.

thanks that really helps, how can i tell what bolt mibne is? whether its a 6 or 7 bolt? so i can fit doors and fenders of any 90-94 talon and eclipse? so all i have to look for is the right side molding. do the molding on the doors match? Thanks again Cody

Doors 90-94 will work.

Fenders. I'm not 100% sure 90 or 91 will fit your car but 92-94 will. My concern is that the fenders are up by the head lights..wich is where the change happened from 91 to 92 and there could be differences. Perhaps someone knows for sure?

Side Skirts - 90-94 will work.

they fit up... 92-94 laser to Talon, just the tailights need to be installed by a body shop unless you're realy good with getting things to line up right... just converted my little laser to a talon and it looks excellent, car comes out thursday if you want pictures of it let me know

well i got a 92 eclipse for a parts car for $50 and the door and pender i need are in great shape plus has the moldings. And its also the same color as mine. Its a 1.8L though so i cant use the motor for anything. As far as i know the only thing wrong with it is the ECU is fried. So I will be parting the car out and then off to the junk yard with it. will a 1.8l 5speed tranny work on a 2.0l motor? if anymone need parts let me know that ur looking for.

to make sure everything is clear, the following WILL fit your car
92-94 talon/eclipse hood, front bumper, front fenders, headlights, side markers, doors, hatch, spoiler (you will have to drill holes for this one)

being you have a 92 laser, you can not use any other tails unless you use the bumper that goes with them. (besides of course 92-94 laser tails)

I have a 92 talon, could I get the taillights from a 92-94 Eclipse, and the bumper to match of course and have everything bolt up correctly?
