92 laser rs turbo purchase

Hello fellow dsm lovers. I have decided to get back into the dsm world. I have recently had. 99 eclipse n/a and a 9 eagle talon awd. I have sold all of these and haven't had a dsm in about a year or so. I am now 19 years old and I got to school at Uti for automotive and diesel tech. I am looking for my first project car to build and to have fun and learn off of it. I have just purchased a 92 laser rs. For $2,000. It has 190k on the dash, 5 speed with some upgrades. I'm getting a list of mods done and I will have it up soon. But from the pics you should be able to

What year I'm not home to look I thought it was 92 or 94

Only 90 91 came in that trim and the everything I can see tells me its a 90.

Okay, thanks for the info, I don't think I was ever told the year of it so I just threw out a guess. Any difference in them besides the trim?

Yeah it's not bad, although I think it's more ugly than the other models I would of preferred a 2g but that's double the price.

Yes there are lots of differences on a 90.

The 1990 model had the Speedo in 5's...you can see in one of your pics the speedometer. Increments ending in 5.

also can see the throttle body water lines. '90 models are all there own, some differences include ecu, iac, throttle body, shift box and cables, speedo, oil filter housing, 22 spline output shaft vs 23 spline in 91+, im sure theres more.
