92 awd trans problems after bearing install??

Yesterday i did the skateboard bearing mod to my 92 awd. I had no previous shifting problem i just wanted to tighten it up a bit. After the bearing install i now have a problem with 5th gear and reverse. It will go into reverse, it just seems rough compared to before. 5th on the other hand feels like its fully engaged but as i let the clutch out it kicks out of gear. Ive read about a washer under the back up light switch, i will check that in the morning but i never messed with that so not sure why it would be a problem now

Adjust you cables.

The washer under the backup switch only prevents going into 5th or reverse if the washer is missing. Check if your shift cables casings move (not clamped down) while a helper shifts.
