Read the posts that pooped up from my title. Sorta same but mines different. My car took 20 times to start, I even trued flooring it when it sputtered on but couldnt get it going. I did get it to 4,000 but then rpms just dropped like I wasn't touching gas pedal. I did get it to start and stay on, and it now is acting perfectly normal. When it did stay on it sounded weak. Now it sounds powerful and mean like it always does. Any clues?
 
I forgot to say first few times were only it cranking and yes. My coolant temp is dead. But its never done "this" in last years winter. It idled rough, but it started and let me hold rpms at 2,000. Plus on the way hone today it boosted perfectly like it always has.[DOUBLEPOST=1410879528][/DOUBLEPOST]Lol. Poped didn't look right so I wrote pooped...now I realize its with two ps. Popped up. Lol
 
Change the temp sensor if you know its bad they are cheap and easy to replace

I thought it was fuel pressure. Its sorta what it seemed like. It wouldn't fire up on the first few tries, then it would but immediately die even if I floored the gas pedal.

yeah cts is what i would do mine had me stumped on my 1g i didnt think it would act as stupid as it did but it ran crappy didnt want to start changed and ran awsome
 
But if my cts is dead, why would my temp gauge still work?[DOUBLEPOST=1410939276][/DOUBLEPOST]Before you assume im not getting one. I am. Tomorrow morning at auto zone. Unless I hear otherwise from my comment about temp gauge.
