so i found out that my ecu has had a capacitor leak. it has damaged part of my board and i was going to use a 94 ecu. what wires will i need to swap or hook up. i was told switch pin 14 and 6, is there anything else i have to do. also all parts in my 90 talon are for 90, no other year parts are in it

ecmtuning is probably the thing i will be doing, sounds like a good way to keep my car close to stock without cutting up the harness

Not to say there is anything wrong with getting your ECU rebuilt, but there would be no harness cutting required to put the later ECU into your '90; when we say "swap" pins, we literally mean swap them: http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/articles-electrical-wiring/170393-how-remove-replace-pins-harness-connectors.html#post152665543
