Hey I have an 89 Dodge Colt GT. It has the 4g61t and when I got it the timing belt had slipped a tooth on the intake side so I took the head off to check all the valves. After I went through the head I went to put the timing belt back on and noticed that the plate to set the crank timing by had the key hole worn 1/4 of the way around the hole. I need to know if anyone can either tell me where to get a new one or tell me if the one off of a 4g63 is the same because I can get one of those?

Any help is appreciated.:D

Thats a pretty rare care... if you can post a picture of the 61T plate, i can compare it to a 63T plate i have. Im pretty sure there the same.

www.4g61t.org is a good place join.
