7cm gasket? Can I get it in town?

I got an Evo3 manifold but my dumbass didnt order the collector gasket. the stock one is to small. I have the orginal one out now and was about to put the other one in but noticed the gasket issue. Can I get one at a parts store? or at the dealer or make the original one larger? I didnt want to order it but if thats what i need to do then so be it. thanks

I might have one you can use after this weekend. It will be for temporary use, it is kinda cheap. Let me know if your interested and I can give you details. It might be a good solution until you can order one.

Remember there is a new dealer on the west side too. I always forget about them when calling around for parts.

I ordered a stainless steel one. I am not sure if they are actually better but I figured I would give it a try since I am going to be taking everything apart to install a FMIC this weekend. I also orded a multi-layer manifold to head gasket too.

Some of the guys on RSW recommended this stuff called Copper sealer gasket. I just finsihed up and no leaks seems to be holding up. It basically makes a gasket. paid 5 bucks from Autozone. KVK I'll pm you in awhile there is supposed to be a dsm meet at the track soon.

Glad to hear you have it working. Did you have a chance to drive it yet? Just wondering if you have noticed a difference.

BTW, I am the one trying to organize the meet at the track.

The dealer wants 34 for the gasket. the cheapest I have found is extreme there 12 bucks and 8 shipping.

I bought mine from the dealership when I had that setup. I never had a problem with it and it was around $30. Just do it right with the oem part the first time.

Funny you say that Defiant I called Midas and another place and they said they where out. I was like wtf. You figure they do alot of mufflers and stuff they would have the gasket. But the day I needed it everyone seemed to be out. I called a few dsm shops everyobe was out. I used the 6cm one untill my 7 comes in. I ordered it on Friday. Thanks guys
