I've been gathering parts over the last few weeks and soon I will need to purchase a turbo. I originally wanted to get a 68HTA but seeing as that is not available anymore I figured I might as well go a bit bigger. I am mainly looking for opinions and or experience in regards to the street manners of these turbo's. Spool characteristics, efficiency range etc... I don't have access to e85 and only have 90oct on pump but I am more than willing to run meth if I need to.
In all honesty I am kind of looking for someone to make up my mind haha. My car will mainly be a weekend warrior so my primary goal is for it to be a fun street car. I am open to any and all options so please give me your opinions. My biggest problem is that I have never really experienced a properly built DSM with 450,400, or even 350whp. I just don't want to spend 1000 dollars on a turbo only to want more power.

71HTA is replacing the 68HTA so if you were looking at the 68 before then the 71 is the one you want. Although on crap gas like 91Octane alone it might be a good idea to step up to the bigger 76HTA while you'll give up some spool it'll be more capable of providing power on your limited gas.

It's really all up to what your goals are if you want 300WHP then go with the 71HTA if at the end of the day with meth injection you want closer to 400WHP then go with the 76HTA.
