No to answer your question. It happened soon enough in the production that there was a recall. I had a 7 bolt that was bone stock and adult owned and driven and at 140k it walked. Just do some research on the subject and decide from there. All engines could walk but if there was one thing I would do to help prevent it would be to eliminate the neutral safety switch. That would avoid pressure on the thrust bearing at startup.

i have not bothered looking because people are talking about it in this discussion. I have not asked anything other than what someone else commented. I just asked for clarification on a previous post.
 
Bs elimination and arp head studs a mls head gasket wouldn't hurt but only if the head and block are milled.
