I bought a 1998 gas shell. I have around $6,000 to build it up. The car is set up for a manual transmission. So in the money I have to leave room for a transmission. I have a 4g63t motor but it has a spun bearing. I would like to see 400hp or better. Thought about building a 2.3 let me know what would be best. Thanks

Hey Ghost Cancel that order on the greddy intercooler, one of the worst designed setups you should of listened to the other guys an got a kit from ETS or punishment racing or theres a few other places for half the cost.

for 6k man, for the motor do the frankenstien build 2g pistons 1g rods with all arp hardware, or wiseco, eagle combo if you wanna maybe shoot for 600whp later on. The head keep stock besides springs retainers and good cams and cam gears. tranny, keep stock and get a PTT twin disk that will save the life of the transmission for a long time. For manifolds there are very cheap good quality t3/t4 manifolds, for an intake manifold find a evo 3 intake mani, they are great I love mine. other then that gets some 1250cc injectors, ECMLINK ,and a nice 60-62 mm size turbo ,then your ready to spank some a$$.
