6g72 clutch

Was wondering if anybody knows if the the snap ring on the driver side axle is suppose to be loose or if it's suppose to be tight on the same shaft?

The c-clips on the axle splines fit a little loose. They are meant to compress when you mate then to the female socket and expand once the axles it seated to retain it. This is the same on DSM or 3KGT's. I can't say on a 3G Eclipse but I expect so.

But what does that have to do with the Clutch on a 6G72?
