This may be real dumb and hope I am posting this in the right area. In the photo I am assuming this involves the clutch. The small tank in the photo. What is it? How much fluid should be in it when the car is off? What kind of fluid should I put in it? I originally am looking into the clutch since the car rattles when the engine is revved and stops when the clutch get presses in. It still rattles but not near as bad when pressed. I am hoping adding fluid will fix to this tank if I am correct will fix the issue.

Yes you are correct, that is your clutch fluid reservoir. It's a remote mounted one on a 2g. If you look from the side, you'll see a min/max fill line.

+1, that's your clutch master fluid reservoir.
your clutch fluid is the same as your brake fluid, it takes dot 3 approved brake fluid. you can get it at any auto parts store.

Are you sure it's not your throw out bearing??

Not certain if it is but I figured I try this first.

Sound more like a throw out bearing, If your clutch reservoir was that low your pedal would probably be sticking to the floor.

I don't think it could be a bearing since it is worst when the car is first started and only notice the rattle when I am sitting still

You may want to check your slave and master cylinder if the reservoir was empty. Check inside the car by the clutch pedal to see if you have any evidence of a leak. You will likely have to pull some carpet back (after you fill if of course. You will need to bleed the system really well after letting the reservoir get that low.
