Hey guys I bought this timing cover off eBay 6 months ago or so, and it was sold as a “1991 talon non turbo lower timing cover” so I assumed it was a 6 bolt cover. I've had it sitting in my garage since, and didn't really look at it too hard. Today I set my timing and went to put the cover on it fits most of the way except the bottom. Turns out it is a Hyundai cover as I looked closer. Can anyone confirm this is a 6 or 7 bolt cover?

That’s what i was thinking. Figured it was a 7 bolt 1g cover. What baffles me is when i type in the part number it pulls up a 6 bolt cover without that bolt hole at the bottom

Kudos for asking. Zooming in on the cover in that ad, you’ll see the part number molded into the pictured cover does not match the description. Looks to me that the last 5 digits read 33230, which is another number mentioned in the interchange thread.

Damn bro thank you. Are you a detective by chance? Lol

LOL

It’d be nice if they used the right photos for the part number. Always good to verify when you can! Had it matched across the board, I’d probably have bought one or two.
