I'm going to be getting my car smogged legally and wanted to know if these random misfire codes will reset my emissions flags. IE can I just keep turning the car off and on to reset the mis-fire?

Related question: If I do the barometer trick, will the flags ever reach readiness? This is on a 95 so it's not part of the 96-98 mitsubishi exemption.

I know that when you get your emissions checked, and its before a 1997 vehicle, they will check your exhaust manually with a hose-thing. AND IF YOU HAVE ANY CHECK ENGINE LIGHTS ON, YOU WILL FAIL!
