6 bolt swap question on block mount brackets

Hey Guys, I'm working on my 6 bolt which will be going into a 97 gst. In the picture below, are these brackets used or are they no longer necessary?? Someone told me that they are not used. Just want to confirm... Thanks!!

Correct. The front, rear and driver side mount brackets won't be used. You will have to use the driver side bracket from the 2g engine and modify it to fit around the water pump.

^ Correct. Use a grinder or dremel to cut the mount to fit around the water pump, and you will reuse all your original mounts from the 97.

Thanks Guys!!! I ordered that mount from ebay. it comes already modified and not bad for $39. Just waiting for it to get here =)

ok so just to get a visual, #s 1, 4, 11 are used but 5 & 6 are not?

5- side mount 2.0 liter turbo, manual trans right.
6- side mount 2.0 liter turbo, manual trans left.

so apparently 5 & 6 are Tranny mounts along with 11.

Good to know gotta figure out that when i drop the 6 bolt into the 2g.
