6 bolt swap intercooler question

For now I am going to keep my 7 bolt engine in my 2nd gen talon, but i was about to go ahead and get a fmic while i had the front bumper off. in the meantime i am going to be building a 6 bolt block up to drop into my car later on, i was just wondering if there was any difference in the intercooler in a 1st gen 6 bolt versus a 2nd gen 7 bolt other than the mounts such as the piping and things of that sort. thanx Gil

Yes there is a difference if you want to be technical about it but for what you are doing it doesn't matter. The IC you get now will fit when you drop your 6bolt.
