6 bolt options?

im looking to finally get rid of my 7 bolt for a 6 bolt.... what are my options... should i i get the 6 bolt block and put a 2.3 stroker kit in it and use my 2g head which has hks 272/272 cam combo with dual springs and retainers? or is there a better way? what other options do i have? im looking for about 500 awhp.... my buddy has a 6 bolt he would sell me for $350 so i figured that could be built? what do you guys think?
