50 Trim Turbo HELP PLEASE!!!!!!!!!

Ok so I just recently picked up a 50 trim ball bearing Turbonectics turbo I was wondering like I all need to make it run right I have 780cc injectors and the walbro fuel pump I have some bottom block work built on my 4g63 I have crowler springs and retainers a mls triple layer head gasket. But I need to know like what type of manifold I need or would just like a normal aftermarket dsm headers work and what kind of wastegate I need so could someone please help me out thanks.

Do you have something to tune with I did not see that in your profile??? All the parts in the world wont matter if you dont have something to tune/log with.

As stated above you are going to need to have a way to control everything you've listed. If I were you I would verify that you even have anything done as far as your head and bottom end go. Sounds like you don't really know a whole lot about these cars and you should do a little more research about the basics before you try and add more power. Has the timing belt been replaced lately as well as all the other regular sevice items like water pump, tensioner, acc. belts etc....etc.

Just open your hood and throw parts at it. The car will eventually be fast.

Another alternative would be to do a little searching on here and see what guys with 50-trims are using to make power.


For us to tell you what manifold you need to use, you first need to tell us whether the turbo itself is DSM or T3-flanged on the turbine inlet. If you don't know what this means, you should return your parts immediately and put the car back to stock.

you really need to tune from the sounds of it your really lost if you still wish to mod it i would take it to the shop to get tuned seing how it looks like you might know what you just jumped into

Garret 50 trim turbo t3
720 injector
walbro 255
head port and polished with 1mm over sized valves with titanium spring and retainers
2g coil pack
short t3 manifold
tial 38mm wastgate with VTA dump tube
ss feed line and big return line
3" o2 housing
3" downpipe
3" test pipe and magnaflow exhaust
2.5 hard line intercooler pipe with a big front mount
HKS ssqv bov
shave and balanced crank
greddy profec b boost controller running 20 psi
apexi SAFC
palm III data logger
3" GM maf and translator
2300 XTD 6 puck unsprung clutch kit
Findeza aluminum flywheel
Gauges are a Air fuel ratio, -30 to +30 psi boost , EGT, under the hood oil pressure (looking to get a wideband)
