Currently in lockdown (New zealand) so decided to look into fixing this mitsubishi Libero GT I've had sitting for a while, 4g93t motor which is rather similar to the 4g63
Was blowing a tonne of smoke under acceleration while driving aswel as while stationery, seemed to be fine on idle. Replaced the turbo with no luck, compression test around 160 on all 4.
Upon removal of the exhaust manifold I've come across a tonne of oil sitting in cylinder 4 port, the valve stems are covered also. Leads me to believe the stem seals are leaking which I'll be replacing soon but would like to hear other people's thoughts as I have already swapped the head with another which didnt help, unless it was also stuffed which would be rare.
