I am currently running .5 bar on my 4g64. I made 187 at the wheels and want it over 200hp. People say the 4g64 will hold 10psi without blowing.

My mods are up to date in my profile. I think the only thing holding me back is a fuel pump and maybe injectors. I have 450s and a fpr, still using the stock pump. Let me know what you think I need.

I say upgrade the fuel system and get some sort of tuning device such as an AFC so you can tune it properly.

Do you have a way you can read detonation. I dont think those do, but maybe you can add a knock sensor. Only reason I'm saying this is your running the stock n/a pistons that are high compression which will cause easy detonation.

If you upgraded the fuel system it looks like you would be ok, but I dont know what those pistons can handle before too much detonation. At least I would get a wbo2 and stay around the boost that most other n/a 4g64's take theres too.

You could run 10psi and be fine as long as you have no knock and your a/f was good. But we warned that this could decrease the life of that motor. 10psi is a lot to push on these motors. Some people can run it without problems, others have theirs blow in a few days. It depends on how good the motor is now I guess.
